The main objective of the Training course is not only to prepare effective teachers who are able to deal with the changing educational practices but also to groom and make the teachers- in-training well aware of the cultural and academic developments taking place all around. Training course enables prospective teachers to comprehend the nature and philosophy of teacher education at secondary level. This programme also provides opportunities to learners in acquiring competencies relevant to pedagogy, curriculum development and its transaction as well as evaluation. It foster creative thinking among teachers in training and utilizes community resources as educational, teaching methodologies, linguistic skills, reasoning skills and use of modern techniques. R.P.S. Teacher's Training College was established in 2016 under the aegis of Ramji Prasad Sahu Memorial Trust. The college was established to promote the education in the rural and economically backward area of Muzaffarpur District for the development of Bihar.

The Institute is located at Jhaphan village which is 2.5 kms. far from S. K. M. C.H. Muzaffarpur. The newly build college buildings is a modern piece of all modern amenities to inculcate cherished values.
